Write or Die is a web application that encourages writing by punishing the tendency to avoid writing. Start typing in the box, as long as you keep typing, you’re fine, but once you stop typing, you have a grace period of a certain number of seconds and then there are consequences.
Version one is here; and version two is already available. I’m not sure if this is a wonderful thing or very scary indeed.
I can’t think of anything worse. It would freeze me completely.

Man, what a hoot!! I don’t have a problem with BIC (butt in chair) or with getting my writing done, but you’ve gotta give that dude points for creativity.
What did you think of its premise when you tried it? Thank goodness it doesn’t come with electrodes to be attached to your chair… bzzzt, lol
